wet_babble: Substitute built-in Textpattern text strings

27. Februar 2009

PLEASE NOTE: This plugin is deprecated. It will not work in Textpattern 4.7+. Build your own textpacks instead, they are much crispier.

Sometimes Textpattern’s built-in texts just don’t fit the bill. wet_babble is a Textpattern plugin which overrides a choice of your liking with alternate texts. Updating the core texts from the Textpattern language server won’t wipe out your custom texts any longer.

As this plugin currently is just a quick and dirty patch, you’d have to modify the plugin’s code to add your customisations.

  1. Open Textpattern’s language table txp_lang with your favourite MySQL administration tool and look for the string you want to override.
  2. Note the contents of the name column.
  3. Edit this plugin’s code and navigate to the lines starting with „ADD YOUR TEXT HERE“.
  4. Add entries as you please, adhering to the two sample lines.
